As the weather warms up across Australia, my family and I find ourselves outdoors more often. Our hens are out pecking away, enjoying grubs from the earth. Birds of all kinds land in the grass sharing chicken feed and having a yarn with my daughter and her hens. Mind you, we live in the suburbs but it feels like we are in the country.
Country Livin’ is my inspiration for these cards. As I look out my craft house admiring nature, I simply had to break open this set and start playing with it.
A lot of my stamping friends find it challenging to use this stamp set. However, with a little bit of colouring and lovely Designer Papers, you can bring out the best in this set. The images are not for blokes only. Take a look at what I’ve done to the boots. I coloured them in Calypso Coral and voila, how chic!
How did I colour? I used the Aqua Painter. Fill the receptacle with water and it’s ready to use. Now take your Classic Stampin’ Pad and pat some ink to a clear block. Use that as your pallete and pick up the ink from the clear block with your Aqua Painter. Be mindful when you squeeze out the water from your Aqua Painter. Gently does it.
The images in this stamp set are small and manageable to colour. Bring out the artist in you and start colouring.
