When Your Stamp Sets and Inks Retire

Card Inspiration - Retired Designer Series Paper paired with new stamp sets.

When your stamp sets and inks retire, you keep them and enjoy them.

It’s always an exciting time when new products are released. Sadly, some items also need to go, just like this set of festive papers I used in my cards from the last annual catalogue. However, if you’ve been collecting Stampin’ Up! goodies for a while, you can find ways to make them work with the new releases.

I always find ways to mix and match the old ones with the new. Take for example the birthday cards I made. The papers were retired but they looked really pretty when paired with the newly released stamp sets.

The same goes with the ink pads that retire. Although the colours are no longer available, you can still keep on using them as long as you stock up on the refills.

Card Inspiration - Stamp Sets

These stamp sets are my recommendations if you plan on making a lot of birthday cards. The images are gorgeous and will give you plenty of opportunity to colour. The stamp sets are great for mixing and matching with Designer Series Paper (DSP).
