Let’s learn the Diaper Fold Technique. It’s not for the baby and it’s also not an actual diaper because well, you know, eww. Instead, we’ll use the concept and turn it into something extraordinary.
We are making a purse for Mother’s Day using this fun-fold technique. It’s called Diaper Fold because it’s like putting a nappy on the baby. You can make this purse with any square piece of paper. I recommend double-sided 6×6, 8×8 and 10×10 inches depending on what’s going in the purse.
Here’s a video of this fun-fold purse. It’s also a great opportunity to use your beautiful Designer Series Paper (DSP).
Wasn’t that easy and a lot of fun? What will you be putting in them? Can you think of other materials or design for the handle? I’m curious to know how you will embellish your purse.
Here’s a list of materials I used:
- Paper Trimmer & Scoring Tool
- Designer Series Paper
- Mint Macaron Classic Stampin’ Pad
- Painted Harvest Stamp Set
- Leaf Punch
- Glue Dots
- Multipurpose Glue
- Whisper White Notecards & Envelopes Pack
I hope that you enjoyed this Diaper Fold Technique and that you’ll also give it a go.
Check out the online store for all the current Designer Series Paper (DSP) that you can use for this technique.
