Forever Fern is the star of today’s card inspiration. This set has gorgeous and elegant images so you really just want to highlight them and let them speak for themselves. This is the reason why I kept the layout of the card clean and simple. You can easily make this in multiples and stamp them in different greetings for other occasions like birthdays, sympathy etc.

Let’s begin!
Pick a fern that you like from the set and ink that up with Shaded Spruce. Next, ink up another fern with Versamark and stamp that on top of your first fern, Sprinkle gold embossing powder and then heat. Ink up the sentiment ‘hello’ in Versmark, sprinkle gold embossing powder and then heat. Lastly, add the spray background in Crumb Cake to fill up some of that white space around it.
Here’s a video to help you make this card.
Fun tips:
Create a bouquet of 2-3 ferns in different colours and then heat emboss one of the ferns. It will look very pretty as a wedding card. If you notice there is a sentiment in the set that says ‘ love & laughter forever after’ which is perfect for a wedding card.
Try heat-embossing in other metallic colours such as silver or copper. You might want to make a black and white card too using white embossing powder.
The stamp set has coordinating dies so you can cut and layer the leaves. Also, embossing some of the leaves will result in depth and texture in your card.
Here’s a checklist so you can make this card:
- Forever Fern Stamp Set
- Forever Fern Bundle (save when you buy the stamp and dies together)
- Whisper White Card Stock
- Shaded Spruce Classic Stampin’ Pad
- Crumb Cake Classic Stampin’ Pad
- Versamark
- Gold Emboss Powder
- Heat Tool
I hope that you enjoyed this card inspiration. I absolutely love the Forever Fern stamp set and I’m sure that you will too. Happy card making!
