The Gift Wrapped Bundle will inspire you to make cards when paired with Designer Series Papers. The key here is to have a clean and simple layout.
The Flowers For Every Season Designer Series Papers (DSP) that I used here is stack of 6 x 6 inch double-sided papers that’s ideal for card making. I love that there are 48 sheets in a variety of prints to make cards for any occasion, including Christmas.
First, cut the DSP into 3 inch squares then stick onto your card base, making sure that you leave some space at the top for the bow.
Next, choose a bow from the stamp set, ink and then punch it out. Attach it to the card so that it looks like a boxed gift.
Lastly, add a sentiment to complete your card.
Heat-emboss the edges of your paper in gold or silver for a little bit of bling. Let the edges of your paper touch your Versamark lightly, avoiding heavy pressure so that you’re only putting a little sticky ink for the embossing powder to stick. Sprinkle embossing powder, tap lightly to remove the excess and then heat set.
I hope that you enjoyed today’s card inspiration using the Gift Wrapped Bundle. It’s such a versatile bundle that you can add to your collection and use over and over again.
Explore the other Designer Series Papers available too and try to incorporate them in your card making whenever you can. They help in adding colour, layer and added interest to your projects.
