The Occasions Catalogue 2016 is here.

Happy New Year to everyone. I wish you a new year full of blessings and new beginnings. I’m not really a fan of resolutions but I try to do one achievable thing each year. This year, I will be stamping more.

This time last year, I was heavily pregnant and my back was hurting constantly. It was a struggle to sit down for long periods of time so card making was a slow process. Then my daughter was born so taking care of baby became the priority.

Now that she’s past the baby stage, I can sit down again and enjoy doing what I love most – stamping. I’m lucky that my work is also my time for play. I’m so grateful and enjoy it as much as I can as it’s a luxury that not everyone has.

Here at Stampin’ Up!, we welcomed the new year with the new Occasions Catalogue. Once again, we are spoilt for choice. I ordered my favourite stamp from the catalogue called In The Meadow.

The woodland images are beautiful and versatile. The stamp set can be used for any occasion and I absolutely love it. The Bloomin’ Heart Thinlits Die is another beautiful and intricate product. It’s a must-have for card makers.

Plus, the Big Shot Die Brush made it easier for me to remove small pieces from the die. It’s a tool that every Big a Shot Machine owner should have.

Here’s how I made the card:

  1. Stamp the deer from In the Meadow on the left side of the card, a little bit towards the top so that there’s space for the heart.
  2. Stamp some greenery around the edges of where the heart will be attached.
  3. Die cut the heart from the Bloomin’ Thinlits dies and attach to the card on the right side towards the bottom. Position it so that it’s tilting.
  4. Attach flowers, sequins or gems for a finishing touch.

In line with the release of the new catalogue is Sale-a-bration. It’s the biggest sale event of the year where you can earn free products with a qualifying purchase. When you host a party, you will also get additional rewards. Should you wish to join my team and become a demonstrator, there are great rewards that await you. But you have to be quick as it all ends 31 March 2016.

I hope that you enjoyed this sneak peek of products from the new Occasions Catalogue 2016.
