This Something Lacy Background stamp makes paper look similar to Designer Series Paper (DSP).

I decided to make my daughter’s party invitation for her baptism by using this background stamp. Isn’t it pretty?

Here’s how I made the card:

  1. On a coloured cardstock, stamp the background in ink of a darker shade (monochrome of cardstock used).
  2. Cut a hole with an oval die cut and save the left-over.
  3. Attach the sheet with the hole on the card base.
  4. Stamp and heat emboss the words inside the hole and also inside the card.
  5. With the left-over oval, die cut a butterfly using the Butterflies Thinlits Dies and then attach it to the card.

Here’s a list of products I used:

  • Something Lacy Background Stamp
  • Butterflies Thinlits Dies
  • Embossing Powder
  • Rose Red Classic Stampin’ Pad

What projects will you use this background stamp for? Will you use it for your bullet journal and scrapbooking too? I use it to make bookmarkers and gift-wrapping. Do you like that idea too?
