This Mother’s day purse tutorial is perfect for little treats. The day is coming up quickly and since most of us are still on Covid-19 lockdown, we can make use of our quiet time by making a beautiful handmade purse to put our Mother’s Day card and treats for mum, grandma or Auntie.
You can make this purse with any square piece of paper. I recommend 6×6, 8×8 and 10×10 inches depending on what’s going in the purse. These are great for little treats like chocolates, cookies and even jewellery. Think ahead – Christmas, hello, thinking of you, wedding treats and any occasion that’s coming up even for Father’s Day! If you’re making male-themed ones, choose male-themed papers, change the handle and turn it into a picnic basket instead of a purse.
Here’s a video of this fun-fold purse. It’s a great opportunity to use your beautiful Designer Series Papers and any stamp sets that you may have.
How about making some treats for frontliners and your neighbours too? It’s a fun way of staying connected during this unprecedent time. Not to mention, a great packaging idea for the cards that you make and the goodies coming out of your kitchen.
