Mini Scrapbook is the solution when you have a lot of photos and would like to create an easy book to not only store but present them in a fun and creative way.

School holidays are long and seem to drag on especially when you’re just at home. But, it can also be a great opportunity for you and the kids to catch-up on fun crafts such as scrapbooking.

Here’s how to make a mini scrapbook with pockets:

  1. Attach 4 CD pockets or plain envelopes together. You can use a binding machine if you have one or punch holes on the sides and collate with a fastener. Alternatively, you can also use the sewing machine if you have one.
  2. Embellish each page with stamping and punched out shapes
  3. Attach a ribbon as a finishing touch

If you’re feeling extra creative, make a matching box too so that the mini scrapbook is protected. If you’re making one to give as a gift, it’s a good idea to make a box for it.

I hope that you enjoyed this inspiration and that you’ll give it a go during the school holidays.

Would you like to make this in class? Let me know so we can organise a suitable date and time. Please note that school holiday classes are by special request only. Why not make it as a special parent and child crafty activity? Mention this project when you leave me a note so that I know what you’re referring to.
