The Sheltering Tree is a builder set that let’s you create trees in any form that you like.

Pick a season and customise the colour and the amount of leaves on the branches. There are other details such as a bike, a rake and a swing that’s included in the set.

It’s a photopolymer (transparent) set which means that the images can be layered and lined up easily. I love layering the leaves in different colours to make the tree look fuller.

Here’s how I made the card:

  1. Trim and divide an A4 cardstock into 4 equal parts to make notecards.
  2. Ink and stamp the branch and then add leaves by layering in different colours.
  3. Add a greeting and embellish if needed.

If you notice, I made so many cards. This is because it’s my daughter’s baptism and I packaged these as guest giveaways. Isn’t it a clever idea?

What other projects will you be using this stamp set for? Will you use it for your bullet journal and scrapbooking too? What colour combinations will you come up with?

I hope that you enjoyed this card inspiration and that you’ll give the Sheltering Tree a go.
