How adorable are these Sweet Home boxes?

Once you start, you can’t stop. You’ll be creating a little village of sweet little houses in no time. The Sweet Home Framelits Dies has a coordinating stamp set so that you can also make cards and not just boxes.

I love how it comes with 2 different kinds of doors and windows. There’s even roof tiles for added detail.

The box is easy to make and doesn’t use a lot of card stock. When you run the die in your Cut & Emboss Machine, it will give you score lines to guide you where to glue the pieces together. I like to leave one side of the roof open so I can easily slip in some treats. To close the roof, I use ribbon or a piece of string, tied in a bow.

Here are some ideas on how to use the houses:

  • Place on your Christmas table as place settings for your guests. Insert lollies for them to take home
  • Make a village and put battery-operated tealight candles in them
  • String the houses around your Christmas tree as an Advent calendar
  • Don’t limit it’s use for Christmas. They are great all-year round

I hope that you enjoyed this Christmas inspiration and that you’ll give it a go.
