Today we’re using the To The Moon stamp set to make a card. I enjoy looking at the night sky and make it a habit to check out the moon and it’s many phases. So naturally, I’m over the moon with this set…pun intended.
Lately, I’ve been making cards that can be taken apart and re-used by the receiver. This one for instance does not use any adhesive and each piece that make up this card can be re-purposed. I like the idea of my cards being re-used and not shoved in a drawer or worse in the bin. You’ll see what I mean when you watch the video tutorial below:
You will notice that when the moon images are stamped, the ink will show the details. It’s a really fun stamp to use so you just have to try it for yourself!
Here’s a list of the materials I used to help you make this card at home:
- To The Moon stamp set
- Soft Succulent Classic Stampin’ Pad
- Bumblebee Classic Stampin’ Pad
- Misty Moonlight Classic Stampin’ Pad
- Basic White A4 Card Stock
I also used a colour wheel to help with the colour coordination. If you have a collection of ink pads, try and make your own colour wheel so that you can easily find the right colour combination based on what you have.
I hope that you enjoyed this inspiration using To The Moon stamp set to make a card and that you’ll also give it a go. Remember to think about re-usable cards too the next time you make a card.
Happy card making!
