Let’s make cards using the Tropical Chic stamp set.

How are you going so far with staying home? Lockdown and restriction is still very much a part of our everyday lives here in Victoria. We were advised to stay home for another month.

Holidays are something we can look forward to once the health crisis is over and while we wait and dream of that getaway, for now, we’ll just have to enjoy the tropics in our homes. If we can’t be in the tropics then let’s bring the tropics to our craft room.

Frangipani, palm leaves, pineapple and hibiscus. I can almost taste the pina colada and smell the coconut lotion too. But for now, I’m happy to just imagine…and stamp.

For my cards, I stamped and die cut the images. One way you can personalise your cards is by colouring the frangipani and hibiscus in any colour of your choice. I used watercolour pencils to colour and added gems for the finishing touch. Adding texture to your card stock also elevates it to a whole new level so bring out your embossing folders and experiment.

I hope that you enjoyed this card inspiration and that you’ll also give the Tropical Chic cards a go.
