Embossing and Paper Piecing Technique

Let’s learn the Embossing and Paper Piecing Technique.

Do you have scraps of left-over Designer Series Paper? (DSP). One of the ways to use them up is a technique called paper piecing. I recommend DSP printed with dainty or small details for this project.

I’m using the Beautiful Moments stamp set for my card. I’m also using Versamark ink, gold powder and heat tool for embossing. If you’re thinking of making a Mother’s Day card, consider this stamp set too.

Here’s a video tutorial to show you how to put this card together.

This technique reminds me of paper doll dresses that I loved making when I was little. Did you use to make them too?

Will you be trying this technique with other images too? I’m thinking seashells, flowers and landscapes. It will be lovely and I’m eager to try it.

Here’s a list of materials I used for my card:

I hope that you enjoyed this card inspiration and that you’ll also give the embossing and paper piecing technique at go.

Check out the online store for current stamp sets and DSP to help you in your card making.
