Our card inspiration today features Zoo Globe by Stampin’ Up!.

This year has been challenging for all our students. Remote learning has changed education in ways that we never thought possible. It’s amazing how we all quickly adapted and so a big congratulations to all students graduating this year. Also to parents and carers who continue to support the ones learning from home. It’s quite an undertaking when you’re juggling work and assisting someone with their studies. I for one, have struggled teaching my daughter who’s in Prep. But, with perseverance and her teacher’s guidance we finished Term 3 with flying colours. But boy, am I exhausted!

I have taken this as my inspiration for my card. Although the Zoo Globe stamp set has images more suited for children’s cards, I went outside the box and created a graduation snow globe shaker card. I added a couple of stamp sets to add the sentiment and the bow. The Peaceful Moments stamp set once again comes to the rescue which I have recommended in the past.

The coordinating dies helped in cutting the globe and stand. Also, a shaker dome is a must to make this card and Stampin’ Up! has cleverly created domes to coordinate. Don’t forget the snowflake sequins because without them, it wouldn’t be a shaker card!

Another technique to make this set less childish is heat embossing, It’s a great alternative when you want a more neutral look to your cards.

Here’s a checklist for you to create this card:

The Zoo Globe stamp set is a wonderful addition to your stamp collection. Check out this card I made using this set.

I hope you enjoyed today’s card inspiration and that you will give this one a go. Happy card making!
