Today we are making a Christmas card from the Joy To The World Paper Pumpkin from Stampin’ Up!. If you’re super busy but would still like to give out handmade Christmas cards, then this kit is perfect for you. It’s an all-inclusive kit that comes in a beautiful box so you can actually get 2 and give one as a Christmas gift. As we spend more time at home, people appreciate gifts that alleviate boredom. Also, they might discover a hobby that they truly enjoy, thanks to you!
It will be good to have a clear-mount block on hand and I recommend a size D for this kit. This is the only item that didn’t come with the Joy To The World kit so make sure you have one.
The kit includes instructions on which adhesives to use for the pieces that you’re sticking down. However, you may vary it as to what works for you. Here’s a video to make it easier to understand how to make the Christmas card.
So, there you have it. In one sitting, you can easily make 8 Christmas cards with the 2 designs in the instructions provided. If you would like to make extra cards, simply get yourself a pack of notecards and envelopes and use the stamp set and ink spot from the kit.
Overall, the Joy To The World kit ticks all the boxes for me. It is beautiful, cards are easy to make, economical and lots of fun. Bonus points for the gorgeous box because I can give it as a Christmas gift too!
Here’s a checklist so you can make these cards at home. Remember to order your supplies early because it’s more fun to make Christmas cards when you’re not rushing.
I hope you’re enjoying the Christmas card series that I’ve put together to help you with you’re card making. Here’s the previous post for more Christmas card inspiration just in case you missed it.
