Patchwork card technique is a creative way of using Designer Series Paper (DSP) or any printed paper that you may have. This is another great boredom buster during the school holidays and a great opportunity to stock up on beautiful cards for birthdays and special events.

Here’s how to make the house patchwork card:

  1. Using an Early Espresso card base, trim the 2 edges (where the fold line is) at an angle so that it resembles a roof
  2. Die cut several DSPs using a circle die and attach the circles on the card base in overlapping layers. Use a multi-purpose glue. Also, make sure to trim the excess along the sides of the card
  3. Attach a piece of gingham ribbon to define the roof
  4. Cut a small square piece of Basic White card stock and then use the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder to add texture. This will be the window. Then, attach the window to the card front
  5. Cut 2 thin strips of Early Espresso card stock and then attach to the window to create a window panel
  6. Attach a small butterfly to the window
  7. Add a sentiment as a finishing touch
