Blackboard card technique is an embossing technique that will make your papercraft projects look like it’s been made with chalk.

Here’s how:

  1. Hold your Whisper White Craft Ink Pad at an angle and run it across your Black Card Stock. When you are satisfied with how much white smear you’ve got, set it aside to dry. Speed up the process with a Heat Tool. You now have a blackboard
  2. Using a Versamark ink pad, stamp on your blackboard card and then sprinkle White Embossing Folder all over. Give it a quick tap to get rid of excess powder
  3. Using a Heat Tool, melt the powder until the image becomes shiny
  4. Finish off the card with embellishments

I hope that you enjoyed this inspiration and that you’ll give the blackboard card technique a go. You can also incorporate some colour by using alcohol blending pens on the image if you like.
