Are you looking for a way to bring a little spring into your craft room regardless of the season? As a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator in Melbourne, I am always on the hunt for versatile bundles that make handmade cards look professional yet feel personal. Today, we are diving into the delightful Sunshine & Tulips photopolymer stamp set and its coordinating dies.
This suite is a dream for anyone who loves clean lines and vibrant florals. Whether you are a seasoned pro or just starting your journey into paper crafting, these tulips offer endless possibilities for layering and texture.
Creating the Perfect Tulip Garden Card
The beauty of the Sunshine & Tulips set lies in its simplicity. For the project featured today, I wanted to lean into a fresh, modern aesthetic using a lime-green cardstock base to make those floral pops of colour really sing.

- The Background: I used the large tulip coverplate die to create a peek-a-boo effect on the main panel. This adds instant dimension without adding bulk.
- Stamping and Die-Cutting: Using a mix of warm yellows, soft oranges, and rich purples, I stamped the tulip heads and used the matching dies to cut them out. The photopolymer stamps make alignment a breeze.
- The Sentiment: The “If friends were flowers I’d pick you” sentiment is a personal favourite. It fits perfectly inside the stitched labels included in the set.
- Finishing Touches: A simple linen thread bow adds that “shabby chic” texture that elevates handmade cards from simple to stunning.
