Craft Classes Handmade Journaling Personal Scrapbooking

Inspired by Steiner Education

I’m inspired by Steiner education everyday. The Waldorf style of education founded by Rudolf Steiner fascinates me. I like the idea of developing my imagination through sensory experiences. Perhaps that is why I am such an advocate of handmade items.

Being a Rudolf Steiner mum to my children, I expose them to handmade things everyday thru the hand stitched dolls and the cards I make for our family and friends. Working with my hands awaken my creativity and when my children see this, they emulate what I do and they themselves see the value and feel the great satisfaction that comes with making things by hand.

Making a handmade card, bullet journal and scrapbook is a free-form type of art. It allows self-expression in many ways possible. Moreover, the beauty of it is that there is no right or wrong to this art. The end product is always gratifying, unique and beautiful.

You’ll be surprised at how creativity just flows once you get started. You will find it fun, satisfying and maybe even hard to stop.

Visit the online store for current products to help you with your crafting.

Lastly, would you like to learn how to make cards? Let me know so we can organise a class for you. Bring along your friends too so you can share the experience.

** There are many Steiner schools around Victoria. Dandenong Ranges Steiner School and Little Yarra Steiner School are the closest to my classroom, but there is also Sophia Mundi Rudolf Steiner School, Melbourne Rudolf Steiner School and more.
